We went to Denver for Christmas & New Year's. It was great to see Trey's mom & brother -- and enjoy the cold & snow!
We took the train from "Mimi's" house to downtown Denver.
Hans got a kick out of this statue in Larimer Square. And Mimi got a kick out of Hans.
This was the first time in almost 2 years that all the Sklars got together (for more than a weekend), and we had a great time! Uncle Andy flew out from Washington DC & the kids had a great time playing with him!
Hmmm... think this little boy likes his new scooter???
Rain, snow, or sunshine -- I think so!
Uncle Andy wanted to make some Christmas cookies, so he and Trey went to the store. The kids were fascinated by the whole process -- rolling pins, flour, sprinkles ... what a great way to make a mess!
We made dozens of cookies -- a highlight of the trip. Thanks Uncle Andy!
And through it all, trains, trains, legos, and more trains. Good times had by all.
