10 on 10 ::: October

This morning, Trey was holding sleepy little Annika, and I suddenly knew that today would be my day to try out portraits. However, between breakfast, dishes, potty accidents, the ensuing laundry, etc. I have a few 'portraits' of people ...er...things... from around the house.

I've always admired the photo-journalist's way of capturing fascinating faces (hence the pic of our gardener, whose face seems always to tell a story) as well as the traditional portrait photographer's ability to present people in the purest form (yes, we spent about an hour playing under our umbrella on the big black tablecloths...w/ muffin and water breaks, so I get to include two of those portraits :). We're always wishing we had more "real" photos of the kids before they get too big, and I was amazed at how much fun we had! I also understand why people pay real photographers. It's hard to keep these guys still.

Oh, and I threw in a freebie since I messed up the math and didn't realize I was done at 5pm! :)
