visits

It's not till everybody goes home that I really start to fully appreciate my visitors. Suddenly the house is quiet, the beds are stripped, no more shoes are piled by the door, and I miss the house being full.

We had a great time while they were here, though! It's tough to keep my dad out of the water for very long, so we had a lot of fun at the beach, and went snorkeling at Lanikai Beach. The first thing I told Trey when we got home was, "You HAVE to go snorkeling at Lanikai!!!" We've lived here 4 months, and we had no idea there were fish like in an aquarium just on the other side of town! We'll be there again for sure

We surfed (I was so sore! ...need to work out more) and walked and played, and the morning after they left, Hans asked, "Where's Gampa? Where's Gramma?" before he had even gotten out of his bed. They had such a great time together. Hans definitely misses them.
