Trey and the kids have so much fun together, and he's such a great dad; it really makes us miss him when he's away. He's been in LA for the past couple days (he returns tomorrow afternoon) and it's not just the crazy games with him that we miss, it's how he takes such good care of us, sings us songs, prays with us, inspires us.
Tuesday, when we came from a trip to the zoo, Hans asked, "Where's Daddy?" and said, "Poor Daddy. He miss Hans." Which I'm sure he does.
Then today I found him standing quietly in the doorway to Trey's office. He closed the door, as if it might make it feel less empty to him. Sweet boy. Poor us. We miss Daddy!
Wish more kids had moms and dads like your kids have. Keep up the wonderfuul/fun/loving work!
