Mimi's Visit

 
We always feel more like a new house is really a home after we've had our first visitor, so it was great to have Trey's mom with us for Thanksgiving. We opted to skip the full-on turkey meal, and had turkey-legs instead, but we did have potatoes, and pumpkin pie, of course!
 
It was great to have Mary with us; she's an all-star mover, and helped a ton with getting us settled. Best of all, though, we took some time to explore the North Shore and picnicked just south of a surf contest at Sunset Beach. We didn't get any pics, but the surf was crazy, as you can see at http://www.triplecrownofsurfing.com/. (this is not the crazy stuff...)
